The C-Track is a perfect replica of a track with an embankment. The system, with a rail profile height of 2.3 millimeters, is highly developed, allowing for the creation of complex track shapes. Drives are concealed within the embankment body, and electrical connections are routed out via "click" connectors. Märklin has particularly succeeded in combining ease of use with the necessary safety for children, a prototype-like low rail profile, and a very realistic bedding body.
