Märklin Decoder m 83

Receiver for controlling switches, signals, and uncoupling tracks. The m83 supports the digital formats Motorola, DCC, and mfx. The digital address can be set via coding switches or through the programming track in increments of 4. The address range in Motorola format goes up to address 320, and in DCC format up to address 2040. The m83 has 8 outputs, which can be controlled separately or in pairs. The default setting is to switch up to 4 switches. Additional functions include switching up to 8 lights (dimmable) with a defined switch-on behavior, such as street lighting or house lighting. An external power supply is possible, but only in conjunction with 60822. The m83 and m84 decoders can be connected in any configuration. For motor drives, a supplementary set 60821 is required for each pair of outputs. Connection is made using elevator terminals. The maximum current load is 3A.
