Product details
When milk goes on a journey. Accompanying as a loading clerk in the earlier milk cars could be a drafty and exhausting affair. In addition to constantly working with 40-liter milk cans, the generous gaps between the wooden boards at the ends allowed the draft to whistle through the interior of the car. Model: two covered milk cars of Bavarian design from the German Federal Railways (DB). Cars from the first delivery in 1908 with a flat roof. Both cars still bear the DR markings of the British-US zone. Used in general cargo transport or for the transport of fresh milk. Operational condition around 1952/53. Model: each car has six Grove-type vents on the roof. Two steps below the sliding doors on each side. A mounted access ladder at one end of each car. Both freight cars have different operational numbers, individually packaged, with additional outer packaging. Total length over buffers is 22.2 cm. DC wheelset per car E700580.
