Prototype: Supplementary car for the high-speed train RABe 501 "Giruno" of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). 1 intermediate car D (B9), 2nd class, with pantograph. 1 intermediate car E (B8), 2nd class. Suitable for EC 151, with cross-border service: Frankfurt/Main - Freiburg - Basel - Zürich - Milano Centrale. Train number RABe 501 022 with the coat of arms of the Swiss canton of Vaud. Operational condition around 2024.

Model: 2-piece supplementary car set to expand the high-speed train RABe 501 "Giruno" to an 11-car unit. Factory-installed interior lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. The interior lighting is powered through the continuous electrical connection of the entire train and is only functional and digitally switchable in conjunction with the base set. The pantograph on one intermediate car is also only operable in conjunction with the base set via the decoder as a digital function for raising and lowering. Both intermediate cars are permanently coupled together. Guide mechanism in the Jacob's bogies. Scale model. Minimum radius of operation 360 mm. Length of the car pair 40.2 cm.

The base set 39812 can be expanded with the supplementary car sets 43451, 43452, and 43453 to form a prototypical 11-car unit.
