The locomotive features a rechargeable battery operation and a magnetic coupling mechanism at the rear. The motor, rechargeable battery, and all electronic components are inaccessible to children. The locomotive can be charged with the included charger. It offers three speed levels both forward and backward, as well as three sound functions and triple headlights. All these functions can be controlled with the Märklin Power Control Stick designed for children. The container transport car and the crane car also have magnetic couplings. The sturdy containers are designed for children and can be opened and loaded. A permanent metal piece inside the containers allows for magnetic loading with the included crane car. The crane car has four foldable support legs. The crane can be rotated, and the magnetic loading hook can be moved up and down with a hand crank. The train length is 55 cm.
