Your objective: score the most points at the end of the game. The four Rêve tiles you can choose during the game will give you points based on the elements (animals, gems) visible on your island at the end of the game.

Also, make sure that the Rêve and Île tiles correspond as closely as possible. The children of Sinbad take on a challenge: explore the 1001 islands and retrace the footsteps of their father, this great sailor. Ever since they were very young, they have been dreaming of exotic animals, magnificent gems, and magical lamps that would make the travelers' tales they wanted to hear come true.

It's a game with strong interaction between players because you have to pay attention to what you choose, what you give, and who you give it to. The mechanics are simple but very precise.

The first player picks up as many pieces of the same type as there are players, keeps one for themselves, and then gives the rest to the person of their choice, who does the same until all the pieces have been distributed. The last person chosen does not have a choice; they must place this tile on their island but become the first player and start the process.

It's a game that can be played gently with younger players by 'helping' them to get the best pieces or, conversely, it can be played more strategically by preventing your opponents from getting the points they need while ensuring you get the right ones for yourself.
