Product details
The Playing Ability Test, or PAT, is a skill assessment for billiards that allows for the integration of training and performance evaluation. In addition to a variety of training exercises, participants can regularly check their PAT level through performance assessments. Upon reaching certain score thresholds, players receive performance badges, similar to those in Asian martial arts, which correspond to their skill level. To encourage training, individuals can voluntarily submit their test results to a leaderboard, enabling a global comparison. This has also been recognized by the World Pool Association (WPA) and the European Federation (EPBF), which use the PAT test as an official criterion to make nations and regions comparable or to identify and promote talent more quickly. The PAT test is suitable for this purpose.
