Product details

The housing is partially real chrome-plated, making the locomotive resemble its large prototype. This is a model of a diesel locomotive of the F7 A-Unit design by EMD, in the livery of the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. It features authentic coloring and lettering from Era III. It has a different operating number than 20581. The locomotive body is partially chrome-plated, giving it the typical appearance of the original. Both bogies are powered by high-performance ball-bearing Bühler motors and are equipped with traction tires. It includes a built-in mfx/DCC decoder with a variety of light and sound functions, which can be switched digitally. There is a built-in socket at the rear of the locomotive to supply the speaker from the A-Unit's decoder when connected to the appropriate B-Unit. Many applied details, including operable cab doors. Length over couplings is 61 cm.

Highlights: Limited edition of 249 pieces. Many light functions such as high beam or Mars light.
