Product details
By the end of the 1980s, the RhB could not yet do without the now nearly 40-year-old locomotives of the Ge 4/4 I series. Since it was foreseeable that these would remain in service for a longer time, the locomotives were modernized. A multiple unit control system was installed, and further technical improvements were made, but the most striking feature was the new driver's cabs with the two large windows. Although some of the locomotives have already been scrapped, several of the partially over 70-year-old locomotives are still in operation.
Model of an electric locomotive from the Ge 4/4 I series with the operating number 602 of the Rhätische Bahn. Replica of the modified locomotive with a new front end. Authentic red coloring and lettering of Era VI. Four wheelsets driven by two powerful ball-bearing Bühler motors. Equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions. One-arm roof pantograph motor-driven, digitally switchable. Prototype-accurate execution of the roof equipment. Length over buffers 54 cm.
Highlights: newly designed locomotive body.
