Product details
In 1950, Fuchs introduced its first excavator, the D1. The D3 was an advancement and followed just two years later in 1952. This excavator already featured its own drive with a 4-speed transmission. The F 301 began production at the end of 1957 and represented another significant step in development. Due to numerous technical innovations and high performance, the F 301 quickly became a bestseller. For decades, the F 301 dominated many construction sites in Germany and Europe, earning a reputation as the "jack of all trades." It also played an important role as a construction aid in the post-war period. The F 301 could even be found on construction sites overseas and in the Middle East. Due to its advanced features and versatile applications, the F 301 served as a model for numerous subsequent generations of excavators. Production of the F 301 was only discontinued by Fuchs in 1978.
