Product details
We present to you the LEGO Architecture interpretation of one of the most famous landmarks ever built: the Eiffel Tower! This original masterpiece of wrought-iron engineering, standing at 324 meters tall, was designed and constructed by the French entrepreneur Gustave Eiffel. It served as the monumental entrance portal for the 1889 World's Fair, held in Paris to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. During construction, the 18,038 iron elements that form the tower's skeletal structure were initially assembled at Eiffel's production facility on the outskirts of Paris and then transported to the construction site. There, they were positioned using steam-powered cranes operated from the elevator shafts and connected with over 2.5 million individual rivets. This construction proved to be extremely stable and has withstood storms, bad weather, and other natural forces over the years. Today, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous attractions in the world, drawing millions of interested visitors from around the globe each year. With this extraordinary model, you can now build your own 321-piece Eiffel Tower from LEGO bricks and display it at home, in the office, or wherever you like. It stands over 31 cm tall, 11 cm wide, and 11 cm deep.
