LEGO Large EV3 servo motor

The large EV3 servo motor is a powerful motor with a built-in rotation sensor that offers an accuracy of one degree. A special control loop allows the motor to operate at a specific rotational speed, making it easier to control multiple motors, for example, when the robot needs to drive in a perfectly straight line. The rotation sensor can also be used in experiments for data collection. The motor housing is designed to easily accommodate gear trains made up of multiple gears. The measurement accuracy of the rotation sensor is one degree. The maximum rotational speed is between 160 and 170 RPM. The nominal torque (average drive torque) is approximately 0.2 Nm. The starting torque (maximum short-term achievable torque) is about 0.4 Nm. The EV3 software automatically recognizes the connected motor with the rotation sensor.
