LEGO EV3 Space Expedition

This theme-based set guides students through building and programming with LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 and provides a great introduction to the exciting world of robots. Using the set, students will learn how robots can be used to perform various applications in the real world and how they can work together to solve the real-world problems posed by the EV3 space expedition activity pack. The EV3 space expedition set requires additional components.

The EV3 space expedition kit and instruction kit consists of three learning mats, a project mat (202 x 114 cm), fixing tape, a large number of LEGO elements for building the expedition models, and material for more than 30 hours of instruction. The projects include concepts of science, technology, mathematics, and engineering, promoting creative problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork.

Research projects involve students examining, planning, and developing solutions to three important tasks that engineers and space explorers work on globally. These tasks focus on how people can survive in space, how they can gain energy in space, and how robots can assist in exploring space.
