LEGO Marina Bay Sands

Build the 3 towers and SkyPark of Singapore's famous Marina Bay Sands complex with LEGO bricks!

Marina Bay Sands is the name of the new 57-storey, 929,000 m2 harbour-side gateway to Singapore. The highlight of the "garden city in the bay", which was designed by the famous architect Moshe Safdie, is the incredible 340 metre long SkyPark, which is laid out above the roofs of the 3 towers and connects them with each other. This makes it the longest usable, self-supporting viewing platform in the world. With this model, you can recreate this architectural masterpiece from LEGO bricks. As a reference to the reduced design with only a few, clear lines, this model includes 2 additional sketch sheets with a rotated view as a supplement to the familiar, right-angled floor plan that is usually used when building with LEGO. Lateral building techniques are also used to represent the concave sides of the 3 hotel towers. The reflective glass facades on the west side are modelled using transparent blue tiles. The balconies on the curved eastern front are indicated by LEGO grids and the lush vegetation of the SkyPark is represented in an abstract way by olive green, round LEGO tiles. This LEGO Achitecture interpretation of Marina Bay Sands was designed by Rok Žgalin Kobe in close collaboration with the LEGO design team.
