Product details
Around 1935, the Klemm 25 was undoubtedly the most popular sports aircraft in Germany. This was particularly evident in 1935 when, out of 161 registered aircraft for the Germany Flight, no less than 111 Klemm 25s from series d and e were at the starting line. For many years, the Klemm 25 has been one of the most popular kit models in the Krick range.
Therefore, it was time to properly adapt this design to the latest production and construction methods. With the targeted use of laser technology, all plywood and balsa wood parts have been designed to create a plug-in construction that is simple, self-explanatory, enjoyable, and allows for a beautiful warp-free assembly to be completed quickly without special tools. Nevertheless, attention has still been paid to scale fidelity and achieving the authentic flight characteristics of this classic.
Compared to the previous design, many modelers' wishes for modern construction methods have been implemented. The wing center section with the landing gear is now firmly connected to the fuselage, and both wing halves are attached. The aileron servos are housed within the wing. Additionally, the entire cockpit area from the engine hood has been designed to be removable with magnetic holders, allowing for optimal and convenient access to the RC area. Despite all these improvements, the model remains just as lightweight as its predecessor and has the same impressive flight characteristics as its original.
The kit includes all wooden parts cut to the finest laser quality, all control linkage parts, cockpit windows, landing gear parts and wheels, the vacuum-formed engine hood, as well as the decal sheet with the markings. A detailed illustrated assembly manual makes construction very straightforward. Covering materials, adhesives, and paints are not included.
