With Cities and Knights, an intense adventure unfolds in Catan, suitable for three to four players aged twelve and up. Coveted trade goods in thriving markets make Catan shine anew. Cities are further developed, city walls and metropolises arise. However, progress attracts hordes of barbarians that must be fought off. Only with a powerful army of knights can the barbarians be repelled and the cities protected.

The new game elements create strategic opportunities that contribute to variety and victory. This expansion can be combined with the Seafarers expansion and is also compatible with older editions.
