The players embark on an exciting journey in three different scenarios that can be combined with each other. They find foreign inhabited islands, they fight with pirates and act as buccaneers themselves. On behalf of the Catanian Council, the players have to go fishing, conclude trade agreements with the natives and fight pirate nests.
This expansion is not a complete game! It can only be played together with the basic game "CATAN - The Game"! This expansion is compatible with all editions of The Settlers of Catan that have been published so far and contain modelled plastic figures. It is not compatible with the games that contain wooden figures.
