Yugi's legendary Dark Magician receives significant support with the Dark Illusion August Booster Set in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game world. While the first half of the year focused on the Blue-Eyes cards of Yugi's eternal rival Kaiba, the second half is dedicated to Yugi's monsters like the Dark Magician.

Yugi's strategy relies on his famous spell and trap cards, as well as cunning and trickery, as befits a master magician. The Dark Illusion grants spellcasters access to powerful cards like Magician's Navigation, which summons a Dark Magician from your hand and another Dark Spellcaster of your choice directly from your deck, who can then negate an opponent's spell or trap card! Additionally, the Dark Magical Circle, that famous ring featured on many of Yugi's cards, has finally made it into its own spell card.

The Dark Illusion includes more new monsters for the Dark Magician deck, such as Illusion Magician, Magician's Robe, Magician's Staff, and even a Toon Dark Magician, who can summon other Toons from your deck!
