Keeleco plush toys are made from 100% recycled materials, specifically rPet. Single-use plastics and bottles have become one of the hottest topics in recent years, leading to an increased use of recycled polyester. Recycled polyester, also known as rPet, is produced by melting down existing plastic and spinning it into new polyester fiber and yarn. This process gives plastic a second life and uses 59% less energy in production compared to virgin polyester. For example, 16 water bottles (500 ml) produce enough fiber to create a 30 cm toy.
