This process is more environmentally friendly, as the raw materials do not need to be newly extracted with high effort. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the manufacturing cycle through recycling. Keeleco plush toys are made from 100% recycled materials, specifically rPet. Single-use plastics and bottles have become one of the hottest topics in recent years, leading to an increased use of recycled polyester. Recycled polyester, also known as rPet, is produced by melting down existing plastic and spinning it into new polyester fiber and yarn. This process gives plastic a second life and consumes 59% less energy in production compared to virgin polyester. Just to give an example: 16 water bottles (500 ml) produce enough fibers to create a 30 cm tall toy.
