The MRPM-AC sensor is exclusively designed for measuring the speed of brushless AC motors (BLDC). It connects to any two motor phases and calculates the current speed based on the electrical signals at the phases. With the MRPM-AC sensor, users can monitor current speeds as well as the historical performance of the propeller (minimum, maximum). The sensor can also alert the user when set parameters are exceeded. Since the sensor is connected to the motor excitation, the user must set the number of motor poles or the gear ratio in the sensor to ensure proper operation. The sensor's information is transmitted to the user via a duplex system and can be accessed using the JetiBox.
