The Intelligent Putty (in the USA it is called Thinking Putty, by the way) can not only be shaped, depending on the force applied, it shows amazing properties. It melts slowly if you leave it lying around. It stretches endlessly like chewing gum when you slowly pull it apart. If you throw the dough on the floor or against the wall, it bounces back like a bouncy ball. You can tear it jerkily, almost like paper. If the force is great enough, it can even become so hard that it splinters. It is neither sticky nor slimy and does not stain the hands when kneaded. It is odourless. It is not toxic. Another great advantage: Unlike other modelling clay, Intelligent Putty does not dry out and therefore has an almost unlimited shelf life.
