Charge the putty with a super magnet by holding the magnet directly against the putty for a few seconds. You will feel the attraction growing stronger! When you then flip the magnet, the putty repels the magnet. Hold the magnet against the repelling force of the putty, and you will feel the magnetic field weakening – until it suddenly reverses, and the putty attracts the magnet again!
