In the heart of the desert, the goddess Ishtar has given you the most precious gift. Water finally flows from the fountains, allowing vegetation to thrive! Show yourself worthy of this offering. Who will be the best gardener in Babylon? Inspired by the game of Go, Ishtar pits 2 to 4 players in a contest of resource control and the cultivation of Babylon's hanging gardens.

In turn, each player places a vegetation tile adjacent to one of the fountains and collects gems, which vary in rarity, scattered across the field. They can then use these resources to select a promising vegetation tile, plant trees, or unlock Masteries.

Players must constantly adapt to the evolving gardens and can adopt different strategies. For example, will you save your gems to plant many trees or focus your strategy on controlling fountains? With placements and blockages, Ishtar offers total and immediate interaction between players, with games that are decided only once the last tile is laid.
