The s.E.Pkw Kfz.70 was one of the variants of the army vehicle Horch 108 Type 40. It was originally manufactured by the German Ford branch as a multifunctional military off-road vehicle. In the units of the Wehrmacht, the vehicle fulfilled a variety of tasks and was deployed on almost all fronts - from France to Stalingrad and from North Africa to Scandinavia. Some of these off-road vehicles were equipped with the anti-aircraft machine gun twin mount 36, featuring two 7.92 mm MG 34 machine guns. This allowed them to be used against aerial targets or as fire support vehicles, capable of hitting targets at distances of up to 2000 meters.
