Styrofoam is an ideal base material for various crafting projects. It can be worked with in many ways, such as being painted, glued, treated with napkin and sequin techniques, or used as a foundation for mosaic artworks. Additionally, Styrofoam is a perfect carrier for texture pastes. When painting or spraying, it is advisable to first apply a primer depending on the chosen color, as the paint may otherwise eat into the Styrofoam. When gluing with hot glue, a low-temperature glue gun should also be used.
