Product details
It is delighted to announce the return of the popular WR8 family, in the form of the classic 2001 WRC Subaru Impreza that won the Drivers' Championship 20 years ago. Any rally fan will recognize the famous blue and yellow livery as one of the most recognizable in the sport, and what better way to herald the return of HPI's popular rally platform than with a classic Subaru Impreza.
Under the officially licensed and famous Impreza body, the WR8 Flux chassis is based on the HPI Bullet RC monster truck, which means the WR8 Flux is very tough and can take a beating both on and off road. The WR8 Flux is powered by a massive 4000KV brushless motor and a waterproof 3S capable controller, which transmits power through a sturdy metal differential and the Bullet monster truck's full ball bearing 4WD shaft drive. Combine this with WR8 rally suspension geometry, specially designed shocks and bumpers, and extra-thick anti-roll bars for added control. Add to that high-specification soft compound tires and authentic rally wheels, and you've got a real looker in your hands.
The HPI Racing WR8 is packed with great features that increase its durability no matter where you take it, such as high ground clearance, underride protection, a foam bumper, optimized rally-style suspension geometry, shock absorber protection, mud deflectors on the chassis and much more. It's the ideal machine to race against your friends on RC rally-style courses and multi-surface tracks, or wherever you want. Like all HPI Racing RTR (Ready-To-Run) cars, the WR8 Flux is fully pre-assembled: All you have to do is open the box, insert the batteries and you're ready for some breathtaking stunt action. All you need is a 2S or 3S LiPo battery for the car, a LiPo charger and some AA batteries for the transmitter.
