The Telemetry Radio Set V3 is based on a JST-GH connector system, making it suitable for use with flight controllers such as the Pixhawk 4 or Pixhawk 2.1. If an older flight controller is used, a corresponding cable is included to establish a connection. Furthermore, the setup process is extremely comfortable and straightforward, as the V3 set is automatically recognized by both ArduPilot and Dronecode.

Connection & Setup
As mentioned, the connection is very convenient. The Telemetry V3 Set can be operated with various flight controllers as well as an Android device or computer. When using a Pixhawk 4 controller, one part of the telemetry set is connected to the bus labeled "Telem 1." To connect the second component to a computer or Android device, the radio set simply needs to be connected to a free USB port using the included USB cable. The integrated FTDI chip handles the communication between the computer/Android device and the radio set. Installation of an external FTDI driver may be necessary.
