HeXXen 1733: Lord of the Flies - Starter Set

"Lord of the Flies" is your entry into the gaming world of HeXXen 1733 and thus into the wonderful realm of fantastic tabletop role-playing games. With the help of this box, you will be guided as a player or game master to learn the essential rules of the game while experiencing an exciting story. Throughout the campaign, players will discover how their characters became the heroes they are today before plunging into a campaign of epic proportions. HeXXen 1733 takes place, as the name suggests, in the Baroque year of 1733. However, our game world is somewhat different from the one we know from history books. While HeXXen 1733 is set in the familiar Europe, witches and werewolves, vampires and demons are a cruel reality. It takes the help of brave hunters to defeat the creatures of hell with muskets and rapiers, spiritual fervor, and the arts of alchemy. The storyline in "Lord of the Flies" is spread across the German lands, leading from the dark forests of East Prussia to a leper colony near Magdeburg and all the way to the splendid Ludwigsburg Castle. The dangers that hunters must face are varied: sometimes they must confront hordes of the undead, and at other times, they must prevent a terrible intrigue at court. Ultimately, they will face a powerful minion of Beelzebub. The game box contains everything you need to learn the rules while experiencing the story. This includes four hunter prologues and hunter sheets, a rulebook, and a rules explanation for the game master, a total of four adventure booklets for the four group adventures, a double-sided game mat, four hunter mats, and plenty of cardboard markers for all situations. Additionally, the special HeXXen dice set will be included in the box for the first time made of wood! The box is suitable for 4 to 5 players, one of whom will take on the role of the game master.
