Simon challenges players with each new color sequence. To defeat Simon, players must remember the pattern well and then press the colorful buttons in the correct order to repeat it. The game starts with a simple sequence, but the light patterns become increasingly difficult as the game progresses, raising the tension with each round. Each time the green light flashes, the player earns a point. If all the lights flash simultaneously, the player scores 10 points. Simon saves the high score, allowing players to challenge friends or try to beat their own high score repeatedly.
