The module is designed for switching on, off, or toggling light or track circuits. It is controlled by push buttons, switch contacts, reed contacts, or potential-free switching tracks and can be used for all model railways operated with direct current, alternating current, or digital current. Due to the low power consumption of the bistable relay (2xU), the smallest commercially available reed contacts can be used for activation. Magnets attached to the train trigger the switching process when passing over the reed contacts.
