It was during this time that he began working on the greatest work of his life, an encyclopedia that had a significant influence on the Age of Enlightenment: Histoire Naturelle (Natural History). You are one of the leading naturalists and explorers of your time and have just been invited by Comte de Buffon to assist in completing his encyclopedia.

Conduct research and organize ambitious expeditions that will allow you to publish descriptions of the most fascinating creatures on our planet. Encyclopedia is a strategy game for 1 to 4 explorers featuring a dice placement mechanic. Throughout the game, players draw dice, place them on the game board, and perform various actions based on their value and color. Interestingly, you can use both your own dice and those of your opponents, ensuring interaction between players.

The first edition includes the limited mini-expansion Sepultus Creatura, which allows you to explore the unusual and gigantic bones of the long-extinct species known today as dinosaurs.
