Therefore, Gollnest & Kiesel, or GoKi, donates a new forest to the least forested federal state of Schleswig-Holstein every year - one tree for every newborn child. More than 400,000 beech, oak, and maple trees have been planted since 2004. Only wood from sustainable European forestry is used, and they are working to produce as many products as possible in a circular manner, meaning cradle-to-cradle.

Gollnest & Kiesel is also socially committed worldwide, helping to build schools in developing countries. There, children get the chance for education. It goes without saying that no GoKi toy is made by children: "We make toys for children, not by children." In GoKi's own factory in China, Western standards are upheld regarding occupational safety and security. Toys should be fun and safe. To ensure the highest safety standards, the team in GoKi's quality management constantly tests all products in their in-house laboratory. External testing institutes also regularly examine GoKi products through extensive testing.
