The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially achieved great success selling original Swiss fabric dolls. With a body made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made from synthetic or real hair, the company created lovable, unique doll personalities. After relocating its headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and supplemented it with teddy bears.
