The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially achieved great success selling original Swiss stuffed dolls. With a body made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made from synthetic or real hair, the company created lovable, unique doll personalities. After relocating its headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and added teddy bears. Later, Glorex consistently broadened its product line by acquiring individual manufacturers of hobby and leisure products, and today, with around 50 employees and over 10,000 innovative and high-quality items, it can competently serve the entire "creative leisure" offering.
