The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially achieved great success selling original Swiss fabric dolls. With bodies made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made of synthetic or real hair, the company created charming, individual doll personalities. After relocating the company headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and added teddy bears. Later, Glorex consistently broadened its product line by acquiring individual manufacturers of hobby and leisure products and can now competently offer a complete range of "creative leisure" with around 50 employees and over 10,000 innovative and high-quality items.
