The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially sold original Swiss fabric dolls with great success. With a body made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made of synthetic or real hair, the company created charming, unique doll personalities. After relocating its headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and added teddy bears. Later, Glorex consistently expanded its product range by acquiring individual manufacturers of hobby and leisure products and today employs around 50 staff members, offering over 10,000 innovative and high-quality items in the entire "creative leisure" sector.
