The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially sold original Swiss stuffed dolls with great success. With a body made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made of synthetic or real hair, the company created lovable, individual doll personalities. After relocating the company headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and added teddy bears. Later, Glorex consistently expanded its product range by acquiring individual manufacturers of hobby and leisure products and can now competently serve the entire "creative leisure" offering with around 50 employees and over 10,000 innovative and high-quality items.
