In Plagiarism, players must secretly complete sentences from literary works on a sheet of paper, trying to plagiarize the author and make their version believable. In each round, the game master draws a card, reads it secretly, selects one of the three quotes, and slowly reads the author, the title, and the first part of the sentence before starting the hourglass. The other players must complete the sentence within the time of the hourglass and pass it off as the author’s, which sometimes leads to amusing results. The game master then collects all the sheets, selects all the sentences with the same emphasis to maintain anonymity, including the authentic sentence. After reading them aloud, the players (starting with the one to the left of the game master) vote on which sentence they believe is the authentic one, and the game master records the voting results on the score sheet.
