He is a competent warrior and a formidable psychic who knows how to manifest the debilitating powers of the discipline of Obscuration. He wears a psychic hood that increases his chances of resisting the powers of enemy psychics. Like many other Vanguard units, the Phobos-armored Primaris librarian also wears a camo cloak to enhance the effects of his surroundings.
