Monumental is a strategic board game designed for 1 to 4 players (5 with the Lost Kingdoms expansion). In this game, participants compete against each other to lead their civilizations through various eras and gain glory. The game begins in the classical era, where players build their armies, research new technologies, and construct impressive wonders with unique abilities. Each civilization has its own individual card set that features specific cultural traits, along with an army that allows them to explore and conquer the provinces of the game board. Players activate their cards on each turn to further develop their civilization and assert themselves against the competition. Monumental offers a dynamic gaming experience where strategic thinking and planning are crucial to leading one's civilization to victory.
