Product details
Under Emperor Trajan, the Roman Empire reaches the height of its expansion. In various parts of the expanded empire, new cities, known as Colonias, are founded. However, a stone symbol of Trajan's power has also emerged in Rome – the Forum Trajanum. Each player manages a Colonia founded by Trajan himself. While players strive to develop their own Colonia as effectively as possible, they must also maintain contact with Rome and secure the support of the city and the ruler. Taking two tiles from the Colonia, passing one on, receiving one, and finally choosing one of these two tiles while executing a building action – from this simple basic rule arises a challenging game in which players must find and pursue their own strategy while remaining flexible and making the best use of their resources and options.
