Fleischmann 890324 N Driving trailer, 2nd class for EW-IV commuter trains of the SBB 2. class

With the introduction of the intercity trains starting in 1996, SBB acquired 60 control cars of the IC Bt type. The intercity trains formed with these control cars consist, in addition to the control cars, of adapted intermediate cars EW IV, former French baggage cars, and locomotives of the Re 460 type. The vehicle, which offers 62 seats, is conceptually based on the well-known Eurocity cars. Additional features include a compartment for wheelchairs, strollers, and bicycles, as well as a closed toilet system with a bioreactor. The shape of the cab and the driver's cabin largely correspond to the Re 460 locomotives, achieving a uniform appearance.
