In Crystal Palace, each player represents a nation during the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London. To attract as much attention as possible, they showcase spectacular inventions, recruit influential figures as allies, and vigorously promote their efforts. Crystal Palace is a dice-placement game where players determine the values of their dice at the start of each round. The higher the dice value, the better, but also the more expensive. Throughout the game, the dice are placed on various action spots in a competition for the best resources, patents, and individuals. In a world full of crazy ideas, they encounter figures like Phileas Fogg and Charlotte Brontë to present inventions such as the thinking machine or the beer glass counter.
