To ensure your box doesn’t look like it has been visited by Bol'Gorteth, there is the Feldherr foam insert set for the original Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd Edition - The Trollfens board game box. The set consists of a foam insert measuring 247 mm x 247 mm x 35 mm in height, which fits perfectly into the box, along with the corresponding lid. Both are made from chlorine- and acid-free foam.

Nine of the total 18 compartments are cut to fit your hero and monster figures precisely. This prevents the miniatures from sliding around and colliding with each other. Painted figures are protected from chipping paint. The wings of the harpies and Augur Grisom's morning star are spared from bending.

The game cards can be sorted into two differently sized compartments. One compartment is reserved for the power die. You can distribute the markers across the remaining six. This provides a quick overview and saves time during game setup. Under the insert are the game map pieces, and on the lid are the rule and quest book, along with the two hero cards. This causes the lid of the game box to sit slightly above.

The set also includes the matching foam lid.
