Faller Relay module

Situationally influence scenarios. This module consists of 2 relays (12 V DC) on a small circuit board, allowing for the triggering of different actions on the model setup by connecting jumpers.

When connected to the "Traffic-Control" or the "Extension Module," devices such as a smoke generator or a synchronous craft motor (AC) can be turned on or off.

When connected to an "Extension Module," by appropriately placing the jumpers, one output can operate a motor in forward motion, while another output can operate the motor in reverse.

The module also allows for the potential-free connection of different digital systems: one of the systems activates the relay, and this switching signal is processed in another system.

By appropriately placing the jumpers, one signal can be converted into two signals: since one normally open and one normally closed contact of the relay is used, depending on whether the relay is energized or open, either one contact or the other will be closed. With the correct connection of the relay module, signal inversion is also possible.

By interposing the relay module, higher currents or different voltages (e.g., AC) can be switched on modules whose outputs are too weak for the desired current.
