We're thrilled to announce the latest addition to our line of officially licensed high-end collectibles: a limited edition Sword of Omens prop replica from the iconic 1980s cartoon series, ThunderCats.

Creating this replica requires a fair degree of artistic interpretation, working closely with the licensor to transform 2D drawings intended for animation or toy sculpts into fully developed, full-sized real-world items.

One such artistic decision involves determining the size of a 1:1 scale replica for an animated character. The wielder of the Sword of Omens, Lion-O, has no official height, so the replica, which measures 41 inches (104 cm) in length, has been scaled to the proportions of an adult human standing 6.2 feet (1.9 m) tall.

Our replica sword features an "open" design with a full-tang stainless steel blade that has a mirror-chrome finish, a cast metal hilt with acrylic inserts, and enamel detailing. A red imitation gemstone is inset into the pommel.

Each replica also includes a numbered wall-hanging wood display and a certificate of authenticity booklet.
