Product details
What is AlgoLoop? AlgoLoop is a new fidget toy invented by Japanese mathematician and artist Yosuke Ikeda.
Simple mechanism, endless possibilities
The basic structure is very simple. By moving a tube up and down, a ball inside is pushed forward. It becomes interesting as the number of loops and balls increases. The path of the balls changes when they collide with other balls, creating unexpectedly beautiful patterns.
Mathematical art
What sets AlgoLoop apart from other marble machines is that the movement of the balls in the loop is not determined by chance, but by a logical process. Mathematicians call this an automaton. AlgoLoop is not just a fun toy, but also a true mathematical art piece.
Fostering children's creativity
It is possible to create countless patterns by changing the position of the balls. This can be an educational toy that enhances children's thinking skills and creativity.
Beautiful form, relaxing sound
Like most devices based on mathematics, AlgoLoop has a natural, functional, and logical beauty. Additionally, the sound produced while moving the AlgoLoop provides a pleasant stimulus for the brain.
AlgoLoop 1-loop with 3 marbles
The AlgoLoop 1-loop is the entry-level solution. It serves equally well as a fidget toy or as a mathematically interesting object and is fascinating. Made of wood!.
