ESU Current-carrying coupling 2-pole for NEM coupling

With our new powered short coupling, electricity can be reliably transferred from one car to the next. This eliminates the need to install current collector contacts or center contacts in each car, helping to reduce unnecessary friction.

The two-pole coupler allows you to easily transfer power for interior lighting or tail lights. You can also connect a speaker to our coupler and operate it with the LokSound decoder built into the locomotive. The spring contact can carry up to 1 A.

The mechanical short coupling is facilitated by a conventional loop, ensuring a reliable mechanical connection between the cars.

The short coupler can be used in any NEM 652 standardized coupler socket. The factory-installed, extremely flexible wires ensure optimal freedom of movement for the bogies and the coupling mechanism.
