Handling lithium polymer high-performance batteries requires special measures to ensure safe charging, discharging, storage, and transportation. In the event of a defect or improper handling, LiPo batteries can ignite due to their design and cause significant damage with the risk of injury. In addition to following the specific charging and safety instructions for LiPo batteries, our EP LiPo Pocket XXL offers additional protection for storing your batteries.

With its large volume, it can accommodate very large battery packs, such as those used for drones. It can also hold two standard LiPo Pockets in XXL size. Its carrying handle allows for comfortable transportation of the batteries. It is suitable for batteries up to approximately 200 mm in length and a maximum width of about 150 mm. The LiPo Pocket XXL is also suitable for electronic devices that contain lithium polymer cells. The LiPo Pocket XXL features a double, very strong Velcro closure, as well as a reinforced lid, bottom, and carrying handle. The empty LiPo Pocket XXL can be easily folded by hand and stored compactly. Like all EP Product Safetybags, the LiPo Pocket XXL is made from highly secure fireproof material and has a bilingual warning label (German/English) on the back.

We recommend storing the batteries in a closed EP Safetybag even during the charging process. If a LiPo battery ignites or explodes, the surrounding area can be protected from fire and leaking electrolyte. The pressure wave is absorbed by the bag, and the gases escape slowly from the pocket.
